About delhi airport.
Indira Gandhi International Airport is the primary international airport of the National Capital Region of Delhi, India, situated in west Delhi, 16 km, The airport serves as the primary civilian aviation hub for the National capital region of India. It is the busiest airport in India, the airport handled 29.94 million passengers annually and the planned expansion program will increase its capacity to handle 100 million passengers by 2030, It was previously operated by the Indian air force until its management was transferred to the Airport authority of India In May 2006. Terminal 3 is the world's 8th largest passenger terminal, Terminal 3 building has had the capacity to handle an additional 34 million passengers annually since the start of the 2010 commonwealth games.
 Terminal-1 domestic
the Indira Gandhi International Airport is the major domestic as well as international gateway to India for overseas visitors. delhi Airport has two terminals, Terminal 2 is international,and one is domestic. Indira Gandhi International Airport is an international gateway whereas the Palam Airport provides the domestic connection, delhi Airport has two terminals,  The national Indian Airlines' domestic flights and flights of Alliance Air fly from terminal 1A whereas private airlines namely Air Sahara, Air Deccan, Jet Airways etc. Terminal 1 facilities are currently used by Indigo, goair,  and are split into two areas.
Terminal 1c
The terminal acquired a new greeting area with expanded space, and a bigger luggage reclaim area, Terminal 1C is used only for domestic arrivals.
Terminal D2
Terminal 1D is newly built interim domestic terminal that has the capacity to handle 10 million passengers per year.  It is the 24th largest building in the world and 8th largest passenger terminal. the capacity to handle 34 million passengers annually, and there are various hotels in delhi near domestic airport.

 International Airport
Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi is an important gateway to India for overseas travelers, which link up the entire world with North India. Terminal 1 is the old Palam airport, which is now used purely for Domestic operations. In the International Terminal or the Terminal II of Indira Gandhi International Airport there are 35 international airlines flying at regular intervals around the major cities of the Globe.and Terminal 2 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi was introduced on 2 May 1986. The total capacity of Indira Gandhi International Airport is 12.5 million passengers per annum, The main runway is 12,500 ft and the auxiliary runway is 9,229 ft. Indira Gandhi International Airport is the hub of several Indian and International Airlines linking the Capital city with the rest of the World, and there are also various hotels in delhi near international Airport.
